What a week I've had. I feel lately that I'm always on the go. Which in my case is a good thing because being an actor in the city of broken dreams can ware on you.Watch out here comes an analogy, if you've ever locked yourself out of your house and you know someones home, you knock and knock and no one answers, so you peak in through the window and try to see if you can open it, but its locked. You go around to the back but every entrance is locked and no one will open the door or window for you, that's like being an actress in Los Angeles.

| Broken Windows Theory |
I've decided this week to share my stories with pictures, taken by yours truly.
Los Angeles is a vast city, with the ocean, mountains, sky scrapers, shacks and mansions. Pick a flavor any flavor you will find it in LA. Recently I was on a quest to find a location for a short film I wrote and stumbled upon a studio in Culver City called
Subspace art. The owners of the space recently held an event called The Broken Windows Theory, where international graffiti artists and street muralists take over the gallery and have creative freedom to do whatever they want. Bottom line, Amazingness, yes I'm aware that's not a real word, but in my world it is.
The expression on this man face, is a mix between
Rodney Dangerfield and Craig Robinson with way to much coffee (will keep it PG).

Friday I was lucky enough to be invited to Hard Halloween. (Thanks Al) For those of you who are not familiar, its a large party with electronic music that takes place at The Shrine. Aly and I tore it up! We walked around looking for the Hard food, the hard water, the hard bathroom and of course the hard music. Highlight of the evening, standing on stage while Rusko performed. What an incredible rush!

Saturday morning, I woke up bright and early and worked an event at The Grove called Skylander. I had the joy of talking with
Ewan McGregor, seeing Brooke Burke get impaled by one of the large sunflowers you see on the right and play video games with kids all day.
Skylander is a new video game for kids. The game is really unique, they have tons of mini characters that get placed on a portal that "magically" transports them into the game. If you have kids and they like fun interactive video games, I suggest buying it for them. You know you deserve a little "you" time.

| Nightmare Before Christmas Exhibit |
After work, I went to see Tim Burton's
Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D with Andrea and Brenden at the El Capitan in Hollywood. In the basement of the theatre they had a exhibit that shared his sketches, story board and some nick nacks from the movie. The viewing was fun, 3D still gives me a headache, but they had lights, fog, disco ball, and snow correlating with the movie, I wish all movies were like that.

Halloween was spent with friends walking up and down Santa Monica blvd for the
Halloween Carnaval. The amazing thing about Los Angeles you can be any race, color, size or shape and the general population in my experience will love you.
